In 2007 members of the german non profit association Euro – Sturio e.V. became shareholders from Agromec Calan S.A. and restructured the company under the name: International Caviar Corporation S.A. This take-over was an attractive alternative of going public without the expensive, long-winded, complicated proceedings of the traditional IPO process. After succesful reproductions and repopulation of Beluga sturgeons in the Danube (2004) it was planned to build up a caviar production in Romania. More than 50 places were visited but unfortunately it was not possible to find just one fish farm with perfect conditions.  That´s why International Caviar  Corporation S.A. will buy in 2017 sturgeonfarms in Germany to act as a holding company with 100 % daughter companies.
